Hvis 37signals skal tage kampen op mod SAP, MBS Navision og alle de andre, skal de satse på:

- production mngt.
- accounting
- payroll
- inventory mngt.
- CRM
- sales & reciveables
- payables

Men betragter man nettet som en platform, så er alt vel muligt og det kræver bare at der er nogen som gør det! Især kunne implementeringsomkostningerne være minimale i forhold til de kr. 500.000 mdr. implementation costs som mange af de større danske virksomheder betaler.

Er i øvrigt igang med en større research på omkring 100 web 2.0 virksomheder/services. Prøver at skille skidt fra kanel, sammenligne og spore en trend.

Actually SAP has already seen which way the wind is blowing. They have recently introduced a CRM On-Demand Solution.

With regards to 37Signals I agree with Philip that currently their solutions are not focusing on the same business areas as the established ERP-providers. However there are other direct online business application competitors moving forward at the moment.
I think a company like NetSuite will be a major competitor to SAP, Navision etc. on the short run.
